Deer Run Sewer District to Interconnect with Van Buren

Kennedy, Kennedy, Robbins & Yarbro, LC, is pleased to be working with the Deer Run Reorganized Common Sewer District. The District sits on the west side of the Current River in Carter County, Missouri, and currently provides sewer service to a small handful of homes and other facilities in and around the Deer Run Subdivision. The District and the City of Van Buren recently signed an agreement allowing the District’s wastewater to be treated by the City at its wastewater treatment facility. This will be accomplished through an upcoming construction project to interconnect the two systems. The project, which includes a sewer line to be constructed in the bedrock beneath the Current River, is designed by Bob Summers and the staff at Horner & Shifrin Engineering. The project will be paid for by a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. For more information, about the grant and the project, click here for an article recently published in the Daily American Republic.
