Robbins Settles Premises Liability Suit
Scott Robbins settled a premises liability case for a client injured when she fell off of the deck in the backyard of the home she was renting. The deck had a wooden railing that was several inches shorter than what was required by the municipal code. The client sustained serious injuries when she hit the ground some 15 feet below the deck floor, incurring medical bills in excess of $250,000.00. The case settled for a confidential amount following mediation.
