Douglas R. Kennedy

Douglas R. Kennedy graduated from the Memphis State University, School of Law in 1984, ranking 16th in his class. He began his practice in Poplar Bluff in 1984, and has tried a multitude of cases, both jury and non jury. His trial experience has involved numerous areas of the law.

He has practiced in state and federal courts, as well as handling administrative hearings and he has extensive appellate experience. Doug is licensed and admitted to practice in all Missouri and Arkansas Courts, the Eastern and Western U.S. District Courts of Missouri and U.S. Supreme Court. He is a Past Member of the State of Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education; Past Chair of the State of Missouri Coordinating Board for Higher Education; Past Assistant Scoutmaster and Sioux District Chair, Boy Scouts of America, and also a Past Board member of the Missouri Higher Education Loan Authority.
