Yarbro settles wrongful discharge from employment case

Chris Yarbro settled an employment wrongful discharge case. The client was fired after allegedly failing a drug screen. However, the employer failed to follow its own testing policy and protocol, rendering the test results unreliable. Suit was brought alleging the employer breached of the employment contract, wrongfully discharged the employee in violation of public policy, and defamation. A confidential settlement was obtained prior to trial.
